Alright, I wrote most of this a month ago, and then finished it today, dont know why I felt the need to actually put it out there, but here it is, here we go, my partially initial, partially nowish review for the most recent Indy movie.
Well hello there, Im back, and finally starting to feel not hungover, from last weekend, I will get around to writing about it soon, I promise, but right now I have to do some shameless self promotion. Its coming up on the 4th of July and Im really feeling the need for a drunken trip down the santiam, ala summer of 06 (http://madmovieguy.com/?p=22).

Friends, Family, Followers, tomorrow I head up to Portland, then just after midnight, Im getting on a plane to Indianaopolis, I really hate flying, but I havent been sleeping for shit, so hopefully, since I will have been up since 4 am, I will be able to sleep on the plane a bit tomorrow night. Once in Indy, we are gonna do some last minute shoping and important prep work, before we hit the road for Bonnaroo, which is 5 hours away. The actual weather forcast is not too bad, mid 80’s with some clouds and some thunderstorms, which would be bad ass as hell. I just want to prepare you all, cause Im going to be trying something both shocking and borderline unbelievable, if you know me at all, which if you read this site, you at least know me enough to realize what I am about to say is challenging at best. Im going dark, off the grid, no laptop, no iPhone, I will be incommunicado. Dont worry, there will be an epic blog about my travels, dont doubt that, but Im going old school, Im gonna do a throwback to the gonzo journalists of days past, I will have a camera, a pen and a pad, and I will take plenty of notes and pictures, that I will eventually share with all of you, but you will just have to wait with me. Personally, I am in some ways looking forward to being off the grid, as Ive had a cell phone since I was 18, and this will be the longest that I will be borderline out of reach, I will have a cell with me, but It will not have direct connection to the internet, and It wont be on very much, its more to help me find my friends in a sea of 80,000 crazed concert goers. I think this could be refreshing, then again, it could be a borderline nightmare. iPhone will be safe locked up hidden in my room, my laptop on the other hand, I am just going to leave in the streets, cause I would rather someone steal it than have my roommate looking at what ever he feels the need to look at on the interwebs. Another reason, I am doing this, is that we are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the iPhone being released into the wild, and in that short year, boy has it prospered, selling something like 6 million phones, and gaining huge numbers of the market share, and today, for a few hours, I forgot all about my concert and vacation, as I was glued to the intertubes during Steve Job’s keynote where he announced the new 3G iPhone, which is sexy as hell, and you bet your ass Im taking July 11th off to wait in line like a complete tool to get the new hotness. What I was trying to get at was, the best way for me to write anything about the iPhone, is to deprive myself of it for a week, now there is a very good chance, that I will talk myself into bringing it, NO I CANT, I have to be strong, I need this, as much as anyone needs anything. Anyways, Im all tanned up, and Im almost all packed, tomorrow the journey begins, I hope you all find something to do while Im gone, not that I write enough anymore to keep anyone busy for more than a few minutes here and there.
