Mad Movie Guy

I tried this today, for the sheer lack of any fucking thing to do in my life. I had to go to best buy, to get the Friday Night Lights DVD, so I got in my car at like 5 till 5, fucking rush hour right. That shit is fucked, and salem is god awful jacked up when it comes to traffic at rush hour, from my house to best buy during rush hour, isnt taking any less than 25 mins. No quick way about it. And I hate driving at that time of day, I’ve fucking avoided it for years, thats part of the appeal of working at 6 in the goddamn morning, you never deal with traffic, maybe every now and then you deal with a school bus on the way home, but nothing like the milk chocolatey cluster-fuck that is lancaster drive at fucking 5 on a fucking thursday, it makes me wanna gouge my fuckin eyes out with a two week old corn dog stick, and just fall to my knees and cry, OH and Salem also has some of the dumbest fuckall drivers I’ve ever seen. Nothing as bad as Atlanta, DC, or Ithaca, but some seriously dumb fucks on the road up here, and I yell at them, I fucking scream the whole time Im driving, they have no clue whats going on, they are just being a fucktard on the road they cant hear me calling them a filthy clown fucker, or the many ways I would go about killing their loved ones. They are totally oblivious, and by then end of any drive, My fucking voice is horse from screaming at those dumb mother fuckers.

No, Im not gonna try to convert you to scientology, and no I did not buy the passion of the christ. Actually at this point in the week, I haven’t bought any DVDs, Im going to on friday, I have to do a couple things first to allow myself to make the purchase. Yes Im insane. Anyways, this is what Im going to buy, Friday Night Lights: The First Season, and Im imploring you to go out and do the same. This show needs to be a hit this year, it needs to be watched, Its a fucking amazing TV show, and it barely eeeked past the suits and got a second season, we cant let that happen again. Its coming out on DVD today, with plenty of time for those of you who have yet to see it, to catch up before the next season starts. I for one can’t wait to go back and rewatch the show, its riviting, well acted, brilliantly paced, its an incredible hour of TV. I know I mentioned this a few times in the past, but its an hour of TV we are all lucky to have on the air. Its that good. Also, NBC is doing something unreal with the DVD set, its a brilliant marketing strategy. 1. They are releasing it now, so people have time to catch up. 2. It sells for 19.99 pretty much everywhere, for a full season of TV, and fucking good TV, its a steal. 3. This blows my mind, but they are actually offering a “Money-Back-if-your-not-hooked” Guarantee. Thats unheard of. Anyways. Im not gonna get into it about the show, but its not just a sports show, its a briliant show, and it deserves a place on my shelf, and yours as well.

I tried going out and drinking on friday, Its just not for me anymore, I dont seem to have any desire to drink, nor do I find any enjoyment from it, also I can only have one or two drinks before I wanna go home and go to bed. Not into the bar scene, Im sure it will pass, but I think I may still be hungover from Ithaca. I did however have a great drunken breakfast, that shit is fun, I wish I could take a pill, and become loopy, loud and crude, and then just go have breakfast with my friends, that I find entertaining, and that is always fun.

I havent written much, but I will tomorrow. Ive been sleepy, deal with it. Untill then let your minds wonder what is happening on 9/14/2007 11pm.

Have I mentioned before that I may have a problem when it comes to buying DVDs ? I think I may have said something along those lines, now its been a while, and I havent added anything new to the collection, and its been eating at me, so I rushed out and bought some DVDs. I dont have the engery to write a normal DVD shelf like I really should. So this time Im gonna try to keep my comments about each movie to one or two sentences.
