I got drunker than all hell last night, drank a bottle of Jim Beam, and a tanker truck full of beer. Good damn times.

I woke up at like 3 am, heard silence. Went to the bathroom, more silence. Went back to bed, more silence. Laying there having trouble sleeping a song started playing on my CD player. “A long December” I’m not even fucking kidding. What’s really odd is that song isn’t at the beginning of the CD in my player, nor did i press play. I know my apartment is haunted cause some ghost really enjoys turning Mr. TV on when I’m sleeping. Its on when i wake up for my midnight piss, and its off again in the morning.. so at least he is courteous.

Ok, that’s horseshit, and totally untrue. But it’s a grabber of a title. It was words in a song Im listening too right now. Its by a band called “im not gonna fucking tell you who this band is” they rock.

Its a weird year for the holidays, half my step bro’s are leaving tomorrow, my real brother isn’t coming in until tomorrow, and Sean well Sean wont talk to me cause I wont watch HBO’s “the wire” oh and I’m sober, right now I’m sober. 6pm on Christmas Eve and I’m sober in every sense of the word.

Every year I hear this song, and every year I hope those lyrics come true. I’ve heard this song a million times. I’ve listened to it every December for as long as I can remember. Every year December rolls around and this song ushers in the December Insanity. Every year the stories get bigger, wilder more out of control.
