Mad Movie Guy

Sometimes, we come across news, and we get giddy as the news directly affects us. Sometimes, we get chills because the news is so important, and staggaring that we are shocked to see or hear about it, that kind of news, doesnt always have to be good persay, but it’s a type none the less. Sometimes, we get news that doesn’t really affect us, or have anything to do with us, really, but it fills us with excitement any ways. Now Ive been on record before, on this very website, as supporting gay marriage. I dont have any kinds of problems with it. Today Im proud to be from California, today their Supreme Court declared banning such marriages as unconstitutional. Which puzzled me as to why I was excited to read the news. Now let me put an end to any speculation out there, I am not gay, however, there are many times when I just wish I was, cause for the most part, the women I meet and develop “feelings” for, are fucking insane. Not just any kind of crazy….like seriously crazy. So I personally think that it would be so much easier to be gay, Ive dealt with people making fun of me for years cause of the weight (which by the way…I hit my beard destruction goal…250 lbs…Im a bad ass) so I could handle that. But Im just sadly not attracted to me. Now thats not to say that I dont have dreams about Val Kilmer and Ben Affleck, but usually we are solving crimes, or getting into drunken arguments about who makes a better Batman…shockingly enough, Affleck always wins that convo…silly bastard. But I digress, I am not gay, and I am cursed with the desire to make children, and so forth and so on, only problem is, I still have been burnt too many times by the opposite sex, and Im crippled with lack of forward motion on that subject.

Honestly I dont know what the deal is about the infrequency of my writing, its pissing me off, as Im sure it is driving you all up the wall too. I mean how can you all function with out the ramblings of your leader. I dunno, its gotta be rough, I do not envy you. Lets see, I got tickets to Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennesse for this summer, which I had no plans on attending untill I got a text message tuesday after work, 24 hours later, I had a 4 day pass and plane tickets booked. So I guess Im going to Tennesee. Im pretty stoked about that, and could use a real vacation. I finally saw the black and white version of “The Mist” and it blew my mind, so fucking intense, and as unreal as ever. Oh today at work, I saw a news story on CNN or one of the dozen other news sites I constantly read, cause I dont know what the fuck Ive turned into, and I dont know if I like it or not, anyways, this story had a title something along the lines of “Rent Val Kilmer’s Bed” I of course clicked on it, and it was about how he is renting out his ranch in New Mexico. You can imagine my dissapointment.

I love this stormy weather man, its just comforting, if that makes any sense, love the rain, love the wind, really wish we could book a few more thunderstorms to play here in the valley, I love their work. One thing about the weather thats pissing me off though, its fucking my internet connection, and I cant run the software updates on my new 17 inch piece of digital sex….errr laptop, that thing is hot. Just traded my 12 inch PB in today to a buddy of mine, who needed something more portable, and I needed something more awesome. Worked out for everyone I think.

Its a ratings ploy, and as far as Im concerned a damn good one. But who knows what what will happen.

Another Steve is making some waves today too. Steve Jobs has announced they will release an SDK in Feb. So people will be able to write and develope third party apps for the iPhone…Which was one of the small complaints I have about it, they were being punkasses about it. But they made good.
