Mad Movie Guy

So there is this new album coming out right, from a band I really enjoy, but its not coming out untill the end of March, which posed a problem for me, as I wanted to fucking listen to it right now, so I harnessed the powers of the interwebs and was able to obtain an advanced copy before it came out, dont worry, I will still go out and buy a CD the day it hits stores. So I set out to immerse myself into it, turned off all the lights, put on some avaitors, a ripped cowboy shirt and Hibuscus flowery shorts, so that I could ensure ample rocking out, I wished I had a straw hat though, note to self, need a new straw hat, old one was brave, but did not make it. Which is what I was wearing at bonnaroo last summer for 4 days (thankfully Ive had a shower today though), now to duplicate my mindset as best I could, the drunkeness of bonnaroo, well since we here at madmovieguy.com do not condone the use of any drugs and or alcohols, but have no problem selling out to big Diet Orange Sunkist, we shall just say that I was totally drinking diet orange sunkist the whole time.

I know its been a long ass time since Ive done one of these, but I got some DVDs in the mail, and then on a whim I picked up some new ones today, cause they were 3.99 a piece. Which is something I can not say no too. So I said yes, 5 different times, and think I really strengthened my collection with some new additions.

Normally this time of year all I can babble on about is how excited I am for the Academy Awards. Last year, quite frankly I overdosed, and this year, for that and a myriad of other reasons, I could not bring myself to give much of a fuck about them. Ive tried to get excited, but its just not happening, I don’t really care. Sure I care aboout Ledger getting his oscar tonight, thats the only real reason why Im watching as far as Im concerned. So here are my picks in a few catagories and why I feel they will win.

Trying to watch the Blu-Ray for the movie W. about the life and times of once elf king of america, and having the goddamn disc be so fucking set in its “stay the course” mentality, that it will not allow you to do an “audio troop withdrawl” so you can actually watch the movie, unless you have a full digital 7.1 receiver. I tried over two terms, to get it a chance and change all different kinds of settings, to allow it to be a viable option, so I could actually watch it, but noooooooo, it wouldnt fucking play, probably because I dont have a fucking haliburton surround sound receiver. So I held an election, and voted it out, shipped it back to netflix, and borrowed it off the internets, which I know is like waterboaarding the studios out of a few dollars, but what are they gonna do ? Send me to Guantanamo Bay ? Doubt it, they shut that bitch down. Fucking Bush, still pissing me off.
5. And now the file doesnt fucking work on my goddamned apple TV, fuck it, If you all never hear from me again, Im living alone in a shack in canada bottling my own urine and making paper mache busts of people I hate and then taking a shit on them.

I went to bed this morning at like 4 am, after a long fuckin week, and of course I just wanted to crash out, and sleep till sunday, but Im a maniac, so I only slept till about 745, woked my shit up, and went to go grab some breakfast, so I could come home and watch parts 3 and 4, of the three week 6 part Grey’s Anatomy/Private Parts Event. Which is not unlike the X-men teaming up with like the Avengers, to go fight in the secret wars, only saving lives instead of killing evil mutants. Both episodes made me cry a little bit, powerful shit.
